Medicine Woman & Guardian
Eternal curiosity. Playful and creative soul. Warm and joyful student of life.
Medicine woman. Guardian and musician of the sacred ceremony space
My name is Angela Maye, and I’ve always been endlessly curious. Curious about people, about nature, about consciousness, and about what it truly means to be human.
That curiosity has led me on some extraordinary adventures, travelling through more than 66 countries, living in Latin America for the majority of my adult life, and spending time in India, where my spiritual journey first began. I had a soul mission to connect with the Great Spirit and understand my own spiritual journey.
Over time, I found myself called more deeply into the world of plant medicines, eventually immersing myself in the Amazon to study dieta, sitting in silence and isolation to build a relationship with the plants, understand their teachings, and meet myself more honestly.
What began as curiosity became a journey of deep self-healing, humility, and a lifelong love of learning. While learning from and sitting with maestros from Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia, I was also walking my own path of healing, immersing myself for years in their traditions and deepening my relationship with plant medicines, indigenous wisdom, and the profound connection between people, nature, and healing.
Returning to Europe, I felt called to bridge these experiences with approaches that could best support people in the Western world. I went on to study shamanic healing techniques, shadow work, and retreat facilitation, grounding my experience in practical skills and learning how to create safe, compassionate spaces for others to explore their own journey.
Today, I work as a coach and integration guide, a facilitator, and I’m still endlessly curious. I’ve studied coaching, neuroscience, mindfulness and meditation, NLP, ritual, facilitation, and consciousness, yet more than anything, I see myself as a lifelong student of life. My curiosity is one of my greatest teachers, and I’m almost always immersed in learning something new about ourselves, our relationships, and the ever-evolving nature of human consciousness.
I’m fascinated by how we grow, how we heal, and how expanding our awareness shapes not only our own lives but also humanity as a whole. I believe that every act of greater awareness and compassion ripples far beyond the individual, and contributing to that collective evolution is the very purpose that continues to guide my path.
While I have a deep love for meaningful inner work, I also believe in balancing it with creativity, music, dance, ritual, and the simple joy of being alive. For me, healing isn’t only found in the shadows, but also in beauty, presence, and the moments that remind us of our true nature.
For me, this path has never been about having to get somewhere. It’s about continuing to explore, staying open to wonder, and walking alongside others in community as we remember more of who we truly are.
