Tobacco & Cacao Ceremony w/ Manari Ushigua & Marta S.
Manari Ushigua has been a key figure in the indigenous movement of Ecuador since 1999, raising awareness about the threat to his homeland. Manari is an indigenous, forest defender, traditional healer and spiritual and political leader of the Sápara Nation in the Amazon of Ecuador.

In this immersive experience conducted by Manari Ushigua and Marta Salcedo we will work on the intention:
Despite the moment of great difficulty that humanity is going through, life will continue to circulate on this planet. We will align our emotions to lead a life without confusion. Releasing conflict, anxiety and stress, guilt and lack of faith and security.
You will first learn about the sacred plant of tobacco -also known as Auneka- that has been used for thousands of years by indigenous people such as the Sápara. The way the Sáparas take this medicine is through the nose. Once the medicine is inhaled, we will be guided by Manari with traditional ícaros, as he connects with the spirit of the medicine, to unify our hearts and vision for the new story being written. The tobacco medicine invites you into a deep state of meditation, which can liberate many emotions and parts of our unconscious mind.
Later, Marta will share with us about the sacred medicine of cacao as we drink and align our collective intention in the ritual. This powerful and heart-opening medicine comes from the Guatemalan lake Atitlán. This is the time when live music will take place: drums, guitar, hand pan and singing.
We will close the ritual by sharing in a circle what visions and emotions come up with the medicine. A variety of fruits, nuts, and other foods always from high-quality sources will be available to get us rooted again.
