1-day Catamaran San Pedro Retreat in Ibiza, Spain
The use of Huachuma -the original Quechua pronunciation for the San Pedro cactus- is among the oldest of the different ancestral psychoactive plants, from 6.800 BCE. The name is attributed to the belief that just as St Peter holds the keys to heaven, the effects of the cactus allow users to reach heaven while still on earth.
San Pedro mesas and hikes in northern Peru and Ecuador are the most traditional ceremonial settings. We have created a modern reinterpretation of the original space of consciousness and reconnection with nature—a sailing journey in a 34-foot solar catamaran in Ibiza.
Welcome to this avant-garde proposal for developing awareness and integral well-being thanks to the tremendous heart-opening capabilities of San Pedro, a masculine plant spirit commonly referred to as grandfather.
Having previous experience with sacred medicines and/or psychedelics and knowing how to swim are essential requirements to join this retreat.
1 San Pedro ceremony by Benjo Podlech (11 years experience with plant medicines plus psychologist and coach).
1 Rapé ceremony (dried tobacco powder) – clearing the mind and cleansing the body and energy field, used in combination with San Pedro.
1 Integration workshop.
1 Sunset picnic supper. A variety of salads made with fresh vegetables, legumes, and ferments. Natural juices and some sweet bites to say goodbye. Everything your body needs to land after the journey.
Transport service from/to Ibiza airport or town.

A 25 years experienced captain.
Very high facilitator-to-guest ratio. A team of 7 people for a maximum of 9 participants will ensure you feel supported at all times.
Personal support before and after the retreat – you will have an Avalon family member assigned to guide you through the preparation and integration.
